Halo 3 News

Well this isn't really news, but since no one has mentioned it yet, I think i will.

Bungie, since it is such a kind developer, is releasing a BETA FOR THE HALO 3 MULTIPLAYER mode via xbox live this spring. You need a Gold subscription though to obtain it. Bungie is also releasing NEW HALO 2 MAPS this spring, which are only available through xbox live downloads and can only play on a 360.

IN OTHER NEWS,

Valve's download client "Steam" has just made the new Single Player mode for the game The Ship available for 10 dollars. It features the story behind the multiplayer mode and mission based gameplay.

Xbox live is looking to stock up its download service with TV SHOWS AND MOVIES, making the first group available by the end of the year. (end of 07). There may also be a music downloader as well. Live is also working on a prototype "Xbox Live Arcade Controller" which basically looks like a cross between an Atari joystick and a 360 controller.

I'd also like to congratulate Nintendo for Twighlight Princess. It won Game Informer Magazine's game of the year for 2006.

SEE YOU ALL NEXT TIME.
